Rental Agreement
Version 2026-08-23
This agreement is between you (the renter) and Quick Trailer Rentals, the owner and operator of every trailer on this platform. By checking the acceptance box at checkout you agree to the terms below for the reservation you are placing.
1. Who may rent
- You must hold a valid driver's license that does not expire before the last day of your rental, verified through our license check at checkout.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- The person who verified their license must be the person picking up and towing the trailer. Staff will match your license at pickup.
2. Insurance
Every trailer is owned, maintained, and insured by Quick Trailer Rentalsunder our commercial fleet policy. You do not need to bring or prove your own insurance for the trailer. You remain responsible for damage caused by negligence or use in violation of this agreement, up to the amount of your security deposit, and for your towing vehicle and its insurance.
3. Deposit
The refundable security deposit shown at checkout is charged to your card and refunded in full after an on-time, undamaged return. If the trailer comes back damaged or excessively dirty, we may withhold part or all of the deposit; you will receive an itemized note with any deduction. If you cancel before your scheduled pickup time, any rental charge you have paid is refunded in full, and the deposit follows the cancellation schedule in section 6 — so a late cancellation may return less than the full deposit.
4. Pickup and return
- Rentals are billed in whole 24-hour periods that start at your scheduled pickup time. The number of periods is the time from pickup to your drop-off rounded up — any part of a 24-hour period counts as a full day. Your return deadline is your pickup time plus that many 24-hour periods, and it is shown on your reservation. The drop-off time you select is only an estimate used to size the rental; you may keep the trailer until the return deadline at no extra charge.
- Pick up and return the trailer at the listed location. Late returns block the next customer: a return past your return deadline, beyond a short grace period, is charged a late fee — a per-minute proration of the daily rate for the time you are late, plus a flat late-return fee — which is deducted from your deposit refund.
- Your rental period starts at your scheduled pickup time whether or not you collect the trailer then. Picking up late does not by itself extend the rental or move the return deadline, and it does not reduce what you owe — but the trailer is held for you, and you may collect it any time before that deadline. If you never collect it, the rental still closes at the return deadline: the rental charge is kept, and your deposit is refunded at the rate a cancellation made at your pickup time would earn — which is none of it, since the rental had already started.
- You may extend a rental before its return deadline passes, for as many extra days as the trailer is free immediately afterwards — we will show you how many. Extra days are charged separately, at the daily rate on your reservation and without any volume discount, and are paid for when you extend; your deposit is unchanged. Extending moves your return deadline, so late fees are measured against the new one. If the trailer is booked straight after you, it cannot be extended and must come back by your deadline.
- Report damage, tire issues, or accidents to us immediately at support@trailerhub.test.
5. Use
- Stay within the trailer's rated load capacity and your towing vehicle's rated towing capacity.
- No off-road use, racing, subleasing, or use for illegal purposes.
- The trailer may not leave the country.
6. Cancellation
Cancel online any time before your scheduled pickup time. On cancellation, any rental charge you have paid is refunded in full, and the deposit refund depends on how far ahead of your scheduled pickup you cancel: 75% at 72+ hours before pickup, 50% at 48–72 hours, 25% at 24–48 hours, and none within 24 hours (including same-day bookings). Once your pickup time arrives the rental is under way and can no longer be cancelled, whether or not you have collected the trailer — but the trailer stays yours, and you may still pick it up any time before your return deadline. If you never collect it, the rental still ends at that deadline: the rental charge is kept, and because the rental had already started your deposit is refunded at the same rate as a cancellation made at your pickup time — none of it. At return, your refundable deposit is returned in full minus any damage or late-return charges.
7. Liability
Except where the law says otherwise, Quick Trailer Rentals is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, delays to your move or job). Our total liability for a rental is capped at the amount you paid for that rental.
