Privacy Policy

Quick Trailer Rentals collects the minimum we need to rent you a trailer: your name, email, phone number, reservation history, and the outcome of your driver's license verification.

Identity verification (Stripe Identity)

To rent, you verify your driver's license through Stripe Identity. Stripe collects images of your license and a selfie, and uses biometric technology on our behalf to confirm the license is genuine and belongs to you. We never receive or store your license photos, selfie, license number, or date of birth. Stripe shares with us only: the verification result, the license's expiration date and issuing state, the name on the license, and whether you meet our minimum age. Stripe's handling of your verification data is described in Stripe's Privacy Policy; you can ask Stripe or us to delete verification data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Payments (Stripe)

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we store only payment status, amounts, and Stripe's reference IDs.

What we use data for

• Operating reservations, pickups, returns, deposits, and refunds.
• Transactional email (confirmations, reminders, receipts, refunds). We do not send marketing email.
• Fraud prevention and legal compliance.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics, via Firebase, to see which pages people visit and how the booking flow performs. It records the page address, your IP address, coarse technical details such as browser, device type, and approximate region, and randomly generated identifiers for your browser — Google's _ga cookies, which last about two years, and a Firebase installation id kept in your browser's storage.

Before reporting a page address we replace reservation, trailer, and other record identifiers with a placeholder (so /book/checkout/[reservationId], not your booking's id), and we drop every query value except a short list of filters that describe what was being looked at rather than who was looking — the search radius, trailer types, and a valid five-digit ZIP code on the browse page, whether a deposit or the full amount was chosen at checkout, and the equivalent filters on staff pages. The address of the page you came from is sanitized the same way; for a link from another site we keep only that site's address and path. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or any verification or payment data to Google, and we turn off Google's advertising and personalization signals for this property.

You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site — analytics turns itself off when browser storage is unavailable.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the service — Stripe (payments, identity), our hosting and database providers, our email provider, and Google Analytics — and when the law requires it. We never sell personal data.

Retention and your rights

Reservation and payment records are kept as long as required for tax and liability purposes. You can request access to or deletion of your personal data at support@trailerhub.test.
